Washington Center for Teaching Careers (WATeach) was established by Washington State
Department of Education to recruit qualified individuals to the teaching
profession in order to alleviate the shortage of credential teachers in Washington.
WATeach is a one-stop information and referral recruitment center for
individuals who may be interested in a teaching career. WATeach offers a variety
of informational and advisor-assisted services to prospective teachers.
